Atlanta Ga, Who Else Would Like $1,500 For Replacement Windows?
2009 stimulus package gives up to gives away money in tax credits for removing your old windows and installing energy efficiency replacement windows.
Would you like to know about the details:
1- First of all this only applies to an existing home you are living in. Unfortunately if you are building a new house you will not qualify.
2- This is a time sensitive offer. Obama dictates that they need to be installed between January 1, 2009 and Dec 31, 2010
3- Again, you must be living in this home. So this does not apply to rental properties or vacation homes.
4-You must remember to keep the original manufacturer certification statement
5- Windows must be a minimum of the following: U factor <= 0.30 & SHGC <= 0.30 (Don’t worry we can explain what this means and show you your options)
You only receive a credit for up to30% of the windows cost.
Credit is for a maximum of $1,500 on the purchase of the windows.
Installation, labor and removal fees are not included in this rebate.
